Origin: Inspired by traditional markets of the Middle East, South Asia and the Mediterranean

Bazaar evokes an Eastern market, with woven rugs, lanterns, hand-painted ceramics, brass trays and embroidered textiles layered together. The space builds up gradually from collected pieces and feels cheerful, warm and a little spontaneous.

In Vietnam it pairs naturally with local crafts such as Bát Tràng ceramics, rattan, bamboo, silk and brassware. Work in layers: a warm light base, a large rug, a few large focal pieces and many small items displayed in an organised way. Choose washable rugs and fabrics, avoid heavy textiles that hold moisture in the humid season, and leave breathing room so the home does not feel cramped.
