Origin: A trend rising since the late 2010s, drawing on early 20th-century organic architecture
Organic modern has risen since the late 2010s, drawing on early 20th-century organic architecture and its harmony between building and nature. It starts from a clean modern base and softens it with curves, natural materials and handmade texture: rounded sofas, pebble tables, arched walls, oak, travertine, lime plaster, linen and cream bouclé. In Vietnam it suits young families seeking a bright, warm, easy home. Unlike wabi-sabi its finishes stay smooth; unlike Japandi, curves are its main language.
